Crossbar is seeking a meticulous QA Engineer to ensure our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
The QA Engineer will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our product’s reliability and user experience. This position requires a strong focus on manual QA, browser testing, and some automated testing.
Candidates need to be local to the St. Louis, MO area, as this role does require some in-office time with our team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full product development lifecycle : requirements analysis, test planning, execution, and reporting
- Perform manual testing on various browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness
- Conduct mobile testing, particularly with React Native applications
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
- Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution
- Conduct performance and security testing to ensure robustness and data protection
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality
- Provide peer feedback and participate in test case reviews
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manual QA and browser testing
- Experience with mobile testing, preferably React Native
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
- Experience with bug tracking or ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA, Linear)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Experience or interest in continuous integration and deployment (CI / CD) pipelines is a plus
- Knowledge of performance and security testing methodologies and tools
