CNC Machinist 2nd Shift (Experienced)

Join us as a CNC Machinist on 2nd shift in ourKansas City, KS facility.

You will be responsible for setting up and operating a group of computer-controlled CNC horizontal and vertical machining centers and accessories to perform a variety of machining operations simultaneously.

• The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is : $28.00 - $30.00. This position comes with a $1 pay increase after 6 months and $1 pay increase after 1 year

More details about the opportunity :

• Work from blueprints, bill of materials, process documents, written procedures, and verbal instructions.
• Set up and operate machine center using tools, programs and equipment needed, selects proper operating settings as directed.
• Position tools and parts in machines, securing and aligning as required, using hoists and cranes as required.
• Perform a variety of machining operations on an assortment of component parts. This includes face, bore, turn, ream, thread, drill, tap, grind, chamfer, spot-face and assemble etc.
• Perform necessary material handling throughout the sequence of operations.

Position hours / shift :

2nd Shift 3 : 30pm to 12 : 00am Monday - Friday

Physical Requirements :

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights up to 50 pounds. Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.

Must be able to read bills-of-material and blueprints, as well as follow written or verbal instructions. Must be able to operate mobile equipment as directed.
