Position : School Physical Therapist
Job Type : Contract Full School Year
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate therapy goals and provide training on physical therapy topics.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development of therapy-related goals.
Requirements :
- Educational Qualification : A Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure :
- Must hold a current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Certification from the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).
- Experience :
- Minimum of 1yearof experience as a Physical Therapist,in a school setting.
- Proven track record of working effectively with children and adolescents.
- Skills :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
