We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage railroad construction and maintenance projects from beginning to end.
The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with all safety regulations.

Duties
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and implementing schedules
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities on-site
- Communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety guidelines, and quality standards
- Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Monitor and report on project progress
Skills
- Strong knowledge of railroad construction and maintenance of tracks
- Proficiency in project scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Experience in managing budgets and contracts
- Ability to work nights and weekends and scheduled shutdowns
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols

Compensation
- This position is through the Operators or Laborers local union. All benefits will be provided through them.
- There will be a lot of hours / week including Saturdays at time and a half and Sundays at double time.
