Kapi'olani Medical Specialists (KMS) is a specialty physician group dedicated to caring for Hawai'i's women and children through excellence in academics, physician training, medical research and clinical care.

The group is comprised of over 100 Specialists, Nurse Practitioners and other staff, covering newborn to women's health services at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children.

KMS operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes, offering highly specialized care options at Kapi'olani and building support for these services within Hawai'i as a whole.

The group’s specialty areas include : Neurology, Orthopedics,Genetics, Adolescent Medicine, Otolaryngology, Behavioral Health Services, Hematology / Oncology, Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Family Medicine and the full spectrum of Pediatric Specialties.

Its Women's specialists include Breast and General Surgery, Adult Hospitalists and GYN Oncology.

At Kapiolani Medical Specialist, the Neurology department is an outpatient ambulatory clinic specializing in sensory and motor functions and diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.

The Neurology team functions as a specialty area in conjunction with Primary Care Providers to provide complete neurological care for the convenience of our West O ahu families.

If you are compassionate and empathetic, you could be our next Social Worker and provide invaluable counseling and guidance services to patients and their families undergoing traumatic or challenging situations.

Your responsibilities include providing assessment, counseling and referral services to patients and their families. We are looking for someone sensitive and perceptive, with a strong sense of community care and social service, who shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications : Current Hawai’i Social Work license.

Preferred Qualifications : Two (2) years social worker inpatient clinic experience preferred. Familiarity with community resources.
