Job Summary :
The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (Anschutz Medical Campus) is recruiting a residency trained Plastic Surgeon for a 1.
0 FTE position available at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Candidates must have completed an ACGME accredited Plastic Surgery residency program and be eligible for certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
The position will primarily focus on adult general plastic surgery (including reconstructive, microsurgery, breast surgery, and lymphedema) and will involve care of patients at Highlands Ranch Medical Center and University of Colorado Hospital.
The candidate must also demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Work Location :
Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below :
Minimum Qualifications Assistant Professor :
- Medical Degree from an accredited school of medicine
- Eligibility for Board Certification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
- Completed a Microsurgery Fellowship
- Demonstrated experience / training in microsurgical techniques
- Demonstrated proficiency in plastic & reconstructive clinical, education and research efforts
- Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with prescriptive privileges
Minimum Qualifications Associate Professor :
- Board Certification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
- Completed a Microsurgery Fellowship
- 5+ years experience in microsurgical techniques
- 5+ years proficiency in plastic & reconstructive clinical, education and research efforts
- Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with prescriptive privileges
referred Qualifications :
- Clinical or basic science research experience
- Strong interest in lymphedema surgery
Required Skills :
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Anticipated Pay Range :
The starting salary range ( or hiring range ) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE :
Assistant Professor : $295,000-$357,000
Associate Professor : $343,000-$410,000
The above salary range ( or hiring range ) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
