Interim HealthCare of Bellevue is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide support to students in a school setting.
This role is perfect for a compassionate professional looking for flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' social, behavioral, and academic development.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Administer, score, and interpret individual tests (intelligence, achievement, emotional, functional behavior).
- Determine students' eligibility for special programs through multi-factored assessments.
- Write detailed reports summarizing assessments and provide service recommendations.
- Consult with teachers and staff to plan and implement social, behavioral, and academic interventions.
- Provide individual and group counseling for students.
- Coordinate with families, community agencies, and related services to support students’ needs.
- Interpret psychological tests from outside providers and other districts.
Qualifications :
- Master’s Degree in Psychology or Educational Psychology.
- WA State certification as Educational Staff Associate (ESA) in School Psychology.
- Strong background in testing, problem-solving, and social skills development.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
