We're currently seeking to hire an experienced Compensation Analyst to join our team.
As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring our organization remains competitive in the market by evaluating job positions, designing compensation packages, and implementing incentive programs aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Conducts job evaluations, market analyses, and research to support compensation decisions and program recommendations.
- Maintain accurate job descriptions for all positions within the organization and ensure alignment with job duties performed.
- Identifies process improvement and best practice opportunities for business processes.
- Documents new procedures and business process workflows.
- Participates in third-party compensation surveys.
- Performs research with peer companies and similar external markets.
- Analyzes job profiles and specifications using job evaluation and leveling techniques.
- Aligns jobs and establishes compensation parameters equitable within the organization and competitive to the external market.
- Ensures all reviewed jobs have the proper exemption status, meet compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred, In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in compensation with a strong understanding of job evaluation techniques will be considered.
- Minimum 3 years experience.
- Previous Supply Chain industry experience helpful, Railroad industry experience highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively.
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable / Proficiency of Compensation Software - Payfactors proficiency a plus
- Compensation experience within Union environment, nice to have
- Ability to work well independently - Works Remotely.
