We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Business Development to join our Liquidity and Margin Services team with Global Markets.

This role is located in San Francisco - HYBRID

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways :

  • Work as a lead for the West Coast region and be a subject matter expert to represent the Sales organization's to acquire new franchise clients from internal or external sources.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Business Heads to set strategy for the region and agree on targets (segment, client, product etc) for prospective clients.
  • Establish self as a leader to the team and facilitate connectivity to the prospective client c-suite to build the future business pipeline.
  • Execute on new business that supports our client strategy and targets and aligns with our control environment, including management of our client pipeline.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Well-versed in the financial services industry and detailed insight into clients' businesses with 10 -15 years' experience.
  • A self-starter who takes ownership and accountability with urgency.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; must befortable interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, service-oriented, and with a drive to win business while mitigating risk.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure apetitivepensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $113,000 and $246,000 per year at themencement of employment.

However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM totalpensation package, which, depending on the position, may also includemission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, andpany-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and thepany reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment orpensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location,pany or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
