RECEIVER
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ability to understand and read the traveler
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Fill out the weekly maintenance sheets
- Keep the department neat and clean
- Have knowledge of the furnaces : overtemps, atmosphere control, quench oil, generator, probes
- Ability to install and remove charts and proper chart signoff for documentation
- Ability to use SSI control instrumentation for charts
- Track steps in and out of computer in Visual Track
- Ability to follow a schedule
- Ability to perform basic hardness testing
- Proper handling methods and maintenance of lot control
- Part counting and packing methods
- Move work in scheduled areas
- Wear safety glasses, uniforms and safety shoes
- Support other departments when asked
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Basic computer, Visual Track, SSI charts
- Forklift operations
- Communication, verbal, phone and computer
- Hand & power tools, Rockwell testing
- Ability to read and speak the English language
- Ability to work well with others
Physical Demands :
- Ability to manually lift, push or pull a maximum of 40 pounds
- Ability to sit or stand a minimum of 2 hours at one time
- Ability to get in and out of a standard forklift
- Ability to climb stairs and walk a minimum of ½ mile at one time
Work Environment :
The position is in a manufacturing environment and involves the ability to sit, stand, walk and lift for long periods of time throughout the day.
