Java React Developer

Location : Plano, Texas

Job Type : Permanent

Compensation Range : $80,000 - 90,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled Java React Developer to join our client's team!

This role involves developing and maintaining code, ensuring the operational stability of applications, and engaging in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The candidate should be proficient in agile methodologies and demonstrate a strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both backend and frontend development, with expertise in Java and React.

This position requires in-office presence for a minimum of 3 days per week in Plano.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain code using Java 8 or above and the Spring Framework (Security, Boot, JPA, REST).
• Design, develop, test, and ensure the operational stability of applications.
• Utilize SQL / PLSQL or NoSQL for database management and querying.
• Implement front-end technologies, particularly React.
• Debug and maintain code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
• Engage in the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Apply agile methodologies, including CI / CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Stay updated with emerging software applications and technical processes within disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile technology.
• Independently manage deployment pipelines, such as Jenkins.
• Use Git and version control systems like BitBucket, GitHub, and GitLab for version management.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelors (required)
• Minimum 3 years of project work experience; additional experience is advantageous.
• Cloud experience and certification(s) are highly valued, particularly AWS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Working knowledge of event-based messaging / queueing solutions.
• Curiosity, interest in continuous improvement, and continuous learning.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player.
• Passion for teamwork and mentorship, with the ability to guide junior team members.
