We are looking for a passionate, Project Manager who can work directly with our customers and interpret architectural intent from construction blueprints (CAD), specifications, and supplemental documentation.
Job Description
Drawing :
- Creating and organizing the layout of plans
- Design and create print ready files from client provided artwork
- Detail and complete units on CAD drawings
- Translate sketches, both verbal and written information
Operations :
- Use templates from approved client designs to create SolidWorks and AutoCAD drawings for client signoff.
- Generate manufacturing ready DXF files for production
- Follow and create best practices for structural creation from software use to layout design
- Ensure external and internal client needs are met so concepts come to life in an innovative yet functional form
- Aid in the development of ideas from concept to physical form
- Offer recommendations and implement improvements in the flow of information, accuracy of information and efficiency of drawings.
- Be willing to learn and implement new software to help the drawing and visualisation process.
Customer Service :
- Assisting with processing of customer and production orders
- Ensuring correct flow of correct information
- Work directly with distributors
- Professional demeanor when interacting with teammates and all clients
- Provide feedback to client during calls and provide recommendations during the project production cycle
Qualifications
- At least 2 years AutoCAD experience required (2D and 3D)
- At least 2 years print prepress background with Adobe Illustrator and vector files
- Willingness to learn and develop SolidWorks skill sets while in the position
- Ability to work in a self-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience reading and interpreting Architectural plans and / or blueprints
Additional Information
Salary : $60,000-65,000
