Job Description

Quality Inspector key responsibilities :

  • Inspection of Incoming Materials : Ensure that all materials received meet quality standards and specifications before being accepted into inventory.
  • Product Testing and Analysis : Conduct thorough testing and analysis of products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and any deviations from quality standards for future reference and analysis.
  • Quality Control Processes Oversight : Monitor and enforce adherence to quality control processes and procedures throughout the production process.
  • Defect Identification and Resolution : Identify any defects or non-conformities in products or materials and work with relevant teams to address and resolve them promptly.
  • Root Cause Analysis : Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives : Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
  • Supplier Quality Management : Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that materials and components meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Training and Development : Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Compliance with Regulatory Standards : Ensure that all products and processes comply with relevant regulatory standards and requirements, such as ISO certifications or industry-specific regulations.
