Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing provider, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a fantastic school district in Austin, TX.
We have an exciting opportunity available for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time, onsite position that offers a rewarding experience in helping students improve their physical abilities and achieve their educational goals.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' motor skills, mobility, and physical functioning
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' participation and progress in the academic setting
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed
Qualifications :
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid license or eligibility for licensure in California as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
