Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in our computer systems and databases.
This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company's records.
Key Responsibilities :
- Data Entry : Accurately enter data into various databases and software systems from source documents.
- Data Maintenance : Regularly update and maintain the accuracy of data in the system by reviewing, correcting, or deleting outdated information.
- Documentation : Organize and file source documents and ensure that data is accessible and well-maintained.
- Reporting : Generate and prepare reports from the data as requested by management or other departments.
- Confidentiality : Ensure all data is handled confidentially and in accordance with company policies.
- Communication : Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve any data discrepancies.
- Compliance : Follow company policies and procedures, and adhere to legal standards related to data entry and management.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry or office administration are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
