Your Opportunity : Taylor Print Impressions, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking to hire an experienced Outsource Services Buyer .

In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, supplies and services from vendors.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Execute orders for raw material to be used in the printing or manufacturing process
  • Ensure execution of operational processes that deliver the highest level of satisfaction to our internal and external suppliers
  • Identify and implement areas of opportunity to streamline and / or improve processes through analysis of needs and feedback from cross-functional partners
  • Manage communications to supplier base
  • Interact with external stakeholders, suppliers, vendors, and partners to deliver projects as required
  • Interact with suppliers at the tactical level to streamline any customer related tasks when issues are escalated for resolution
  • Provide support for special projects as needed by Sourcing leadership
  • Make significant contributions to continuous improvement efforts within the business

You Must Have :

  • Ability to adapt to multiple technology stacks
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven collaborator and team player who creates an environment of teamwork; success in interacting and influencing individuals and teams
  • Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and committed to strategic and results driven improvements
  • Excellent problem-solving capability, especially during supply chain disruptions
  • Ability to adapt and respond positively to organizational and / or industry changes and advancements
  • Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

We Would Prefer :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Procurement, or 2-5 years of equivalent experience
  • Previous paper buying knowledge and outsourcing experience
