Overview of the Bookkeeper Role :
In this position, you will be pivotal in maintaining precise financial records and assisting with various accounting functions.
Key responsibilities include :
- Handle daily financial transactions with accuracy and manage the posting process effectively.
- Oversee both accounts payable and receivable, ensuring prompt processing of invoices and payments.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile and balance ledgers to maintain accuracy.
- Assist with budget preparation and track expenses to ensure alignment with budgeted figures.
Preferred Qualifications for the Bookkeeper :
- Experience : Demonstrated experience as a Bookkeeper, with practical knowledge of Yardi.
- Systems : Proficient in Yardi and Microsoft Excel, including skills in PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
- Skills : Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Communication : Effective written and verbal communication skills.
