Contracts Administrator

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Review, revise and assist with negotiation of various contracts with owners and vendors.
- Organize contract files including but not limited to review copies, internal discussion notes, negotiation correspondence and final execution contract documents.
- Conduct preliminary contract reviews and provide mark-ups and recommendations regarding important legal and risk management issues for negotiation.
- Develop contract proposals to support organizational goals.
- Ensure that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Write contract letters and other communications and notices.
- Attend meetings to assess progress on projects and take detailed notes to share with stakeholders.
- Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders including project managers, risk management professionals and senior executives.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
- 3+ years’ experience in a contract administration role or related field
- Legal experience and / or knowledge of contract law
- Customer service and project management experience a plus, especially coordination of large projects.
- Technical and / or construction related background / experience preferred but not required
