What will success look like as a Paralegal

• Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
• Review and analyze medical records and other pertinent documents to support case preparation.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Organize and maintain exhibits and evidence for use in court proceedings.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and consultants as needed.
• Assist in preparing demand letters and settlement packages.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing Master Trial Calendars.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the firm.

What would an ideal candidate bring?

• Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, Legal Studies, or a related field (preferred but not required) paralegal certification (preferred but not required)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Spanish speaking strongly preferred but not required;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
• Knowledge of court procedures, legal terminology, and document drafting;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
