Job Description
Functions as a healthcare provider who, working under the supervision of the Radiology management team, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation activities and report generation
- Sonography education, training, and experience in the specialty area(s) to be performed
- Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
- Must be able to participate in stand-by / on-call rotation after regular department hours, weekends and holidays
- Ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere with other members of the healthcare team
Requirement description :
- Graduate of approved Ultrasound training program- REQUIRED
- NICU experience, including micro preemies- REQUIRED
- Echo / Vascular - REQUIRED
- Holds a minimum of one certification from one of the following certification boards :
- Sonographer certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- PALS (AHA)
- ARDMS
- BLS (AHA)
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : CCI acceptable as well
Weekend Requirements : Yes
On Call Requirements : Yes, every other week
