Caregiver - Care Aide - Lemont, IL

Franciscan Village , a part of Franciscan Ministries, is hiring Caregivers, Resident Care Assistants who are customer and patient focused to become a part of a health care company whose mission is to celebrate life and serve with joy.
They work hands-on with our residents on a daily basis assisting with any caregiving needs and work under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Experience in a Senior Living organization is a plus.

Responsibilities :
- Provide personal care assistance / services as required or instructed
- Observe and report any changes in resident’s physical / emotional condition to the licensed nurse
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers
- Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education
- Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family
Required :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 yr of healthcare exp preferred
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Energetic, professional with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Detail oriented
- Team-player
- Compassionate understanding of eldercare
