Instrument Repair Technician - Guitar

Position Overview : As our Instrument Repair Technician for guitars, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and assisting in the maintenance of specific store inventory.

Your role will involve creating a great customer experience and delivering quality work to continually grow and improve the business.

Customer Focus : Understand customer service principles and provide excellent customer experiences. Connect with customers in a meaningful way.

Address customer service issues effectively.

  • Initiative : Identify opportunities and issues, take positive action without being requested, and develop knowledge and skills in product, sales, and leadership.
  • Selling : Work through training and gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
  • Training : Effectively train learners and communicate information and techniques for retention.

Responsibilities :

  • Interact with customers to ensure positive experiences
  • Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship
  • Maintain store-owned gear as requested
  • Complete warranty repair work
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements :

Skilled understanding of repairing guitars

Preferences :

Foundational product knowledge of Guitar Center products
