Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search for a welder in College Park, GA. As a welder you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, joining, and or repairing equipment and various types of metal objects and structures using oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, MIG and TIG welding techniques.

Responsibilities for this welder job include :
- Operates drill presses, power saws, grinders, metal lathes and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools.
- Analyzes plans, drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of welding assignments.
- Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines and / or tools as required per the P.M. charts.
Qualifications :
Standard English text and technical reading, writing, and speaking skills
Basic math skills
Ability to use basic hand held measuring devices
Knowledge of welding techniques, (oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, and TIG), tools and equipment.
Skills in the fabrication, joining and repair of a variety of metal objects, equipment, fixtures and structures
Monday-Thursday 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm
$20-$25 an hour
