The Center for Women and Families is looking for warm, caring, empathetic individuals driven by a desire to help others! The Sexual Assault Advocate Case Manager will help to move toward our vision of thriving survivors in safe communities.
The Center for Women and Families provides free services to people of all identities who have experienced intimate partner violence and sexual assault.
We help our clients and their dependent children become survivors through trauma-informed advocacy. Our goal is to mitigate the impact of trauma by reducing their risk factors and building their resiliency.
We serve anyone in Jefferson, Bullitt, Spencer, Shelby, Oldham, Henry and Trimble counties in Kentucky and Floyd and Clark counties in Indiana.
The Sexual Assault Advocate Case Manager is responsible for providing case management, crisis counseling, and medical advocacy, with support in hospital, call center, and office settings, to survivors of sexual assault across the Center for Women and Families service region.
This role is first shift, with evening and weekend flexibility as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed services to clients affected by sexual assault, including client intake / case planning, advocacy, case management, referrals, crisis counseling
- Facilitate support and psychoeducational groups
- Assist sexual assault coordinators in community engagement, as well as research, develop materials for, and facilitate workshops / trainings
- Provide crisis counseling by phone, as well as walk-in counseling
- Provide outreach services and community collaboration
- Participate in on-call rotation for hospital advocacy and crisis line / shelter coverage as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field may be substituted for a degree.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets CWF automobile insurance requirements.
- Fluency in languages other than English are a plus.
