Job Description

SUMMARY

The Human Resources Coordinator provides HR Business Partner support to Managers and Exempt / Non-Exempt Team Members for client groups including USH Corporate Functions, Universal Creative, and CityWalk.

This position provides support to Talent Acquisition programs including Internship Programs. This position also serves as a liaison with other HR departments including Staffing, Learning & Development, HRIS, Payroll and Benefits, in order to manage and resolve issues as well as assist with HR process coordination.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide day-to-day HR support to assigned client groups; collaborate with internal HR teams to ensure issues are escalated and resolved when necessary;

ensure timely communication with clients

• Provide process coordination support to back-of-house HR pod through employee lifecycle, including but not limited to : New Hires, Terminations, Transfers, Status Changes, Timekeeping, and PayrollOnboarding and Offboarding processes in partnership with internal HR teams and managementOrganizational change management activities including org charts and system alignmentUpdate and maintain job descriptionsOngoing and Ad Hoc Reporting
• Uphold data integrity standards by maintaining accurate and timely records with filing of documentation; collaborate with internal HR teams to ensure accuracy of employee data in multiple HR systems
• Educate and empower clients to become self-sufficient in navigating self-service resources
• Provide support to Talent Acquisition on the coordination and execution of events for Internship Programs
• Collaborate with client management to support HR needs of guest-facing client groups
• Collaborate with internal UPR and NBCU teams including finance, senior leadership, and peers across HR community
• Champion HR programs including DE&I, Wellness, Community, and Team Member Engagement
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and play an active role in contributing to special projects
• Provide back-up coverage and support for the HR team and additional areas as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS

• SAP or HRIS experience preferred
• Experience with union workforce preferred

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA location a minimum of 3 days / week
• Must be willing to work overtime and / or on weekends with short notice, when required
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
