Overview

Sage Dental’s Staff Accountant is responsible for performing bank

reconciliations and assisting with month-end closing activities. The position

requires solid analytical, organizational and communication skills. This

position reports to the Accounting Manager and will have exposure to the CFO

and other Sr. Leaders of company. This is not a remote position - it is based

at our Support Center in beautiful Boca Raton, FL.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations for 125+ bank accounts using cloud reconciliation software.
• Research and reconcile all discrepancies.
• Compile unmatched transaction reports and collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management team to resolve issues.
• Upload Wells Fargo banking reports into reconciliation software monthly.
• Assist with month-end closing activities (journal entries, revenue recognition, account reconciliations and analyses) with efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in data analytics by using various systems and tools to support digital automation initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with the corporate accounting and finance team members to achieve accurate and timely results.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in Finance or Accounting.
• Two to four (2-4) years relevant accounting work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP (preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to be decisive, resolve issues and deliver on commitments and deadlines.
• Adaptable and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, deadline driven and results oriented; a problem solver with strong teamwork skills and strong desire to drive and implement change.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional ability to interact with senior management.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products to include Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
