Position Overview
As a Virtual Sign Language Interpreter , you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication for various virtual events, meetings, and educational settings.
This position allows you to work from home while making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities
- Real-Time Interpretation : Provide accurate sign language interpretation during virtual interactions.
- Adaptability : Modify your interpretation style to suit different contexts, audiences, and environments.
- Confidentiality : Maintain professionalism and protect sensitive information at all times.
- Collaboration : Work closely with clients to ensure smooth communication.
Requirements
- EIPA Score : Must have a score of 4.0 or higher.
- Language Proficiency : Strong command of American Sign Language (ASL).
- Experience : Previous experience in educational or professional interpreting is preferred.
- Technical Skills : Must have reliable internet and the ability to use video conferencing tools effectively.
- Communication Skills : Strong verbal and non-verbal communication abilities.
