About This Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to partner with the business and cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and ensure organizational financial performance.

This candidate will play a critical role in enhancing and developing Finance’s reporting packages and is expected to provide actionable financial and strategic business analytics and recommendations to management.

They will be responsible for developing and presenting monthly financial reporting packages, business analytics, assistance in building the annual budget, monthly forecasting of risk and opportunities, metrics and scorecards, and various ad-hoc analyses.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and analyze monthly financial results. Identify relevant trends and key drivers on the reasons for variance. Advise senior leadership of opportunities and risk impacting the organization.
  • Develop yearly budget and monthly financial forecasts which will drive appropriate and timely decision making.
  • Assist in the development of internal cost allocation methodologies and customer profitability models.
  • Provide value-added analytical management reporting, including ad hoc requests, to help provide the organization a deeper understanding of cost changes and help identify additional efficiency opportunities.
  • Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts across the organization to facilitate efficiency, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Manipulate large data sets to summarize for management reporting, determine results, or reveal trends.
  • Identify process improvements to reduce process cycle times, improve financial forecast quality, and enhance information provided to leadership for business decisions.

Position Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Strong grasp of income sheet, balance sheet, and cash flow financial statements interactions.
  • Ability to analyze financial results and assess financial impacts of business decisions.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to think from both the financial and business perspectives.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
