Protiviti is looking for aPrivacyManagement Senior Consultant to join our growing Privacy and Data Protection team.

What You Can Expect

As a Senior Consultant, you will be a mentor, trainer, and coach to Interns and Consultants as you facilitate the successful completion of project work plans.

You’llidentify areas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency. You’ll strengthen relationships and deepen your abilities to communicate, gain trust, and network with client personnel and professional associates.

At the direction of Managers, you may accept responsibility for decision-making in areas including establishing project scope and work plans, project staffing, preparation of deliverables, and application of methodologies.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?

Ability to inform and issue recommendations regarding compliance with data protection laws; and client policies and guidelines with respect to data protection

Ability to identify business processes and systems that relate to personal data and are deemed in-scope

Experience reviewing commercial agreements and contracts, including Data Processing agreements with data processors

Ability to conduct risk assessments for high-risk processing in connection with regulatory requirements, including data security, security breach notifications, privacy by design, legitimate interest, purpose limitation and fair processing

Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing data protection programs

Proven track record of analyzing and effectively documenting workflows, processes, and systems

Experience with data mapping and data discovery tools and techniques

Experience in deploying privacy technologies to support automation of data subject access request fulfillment and consent & preference management

Experience mentoring and advising junior staff.

Ability to translate and communicate issues, risks or challenges to client personnel, including executives.

Supervisory experience of teams including mentoring, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g.,MIS, CIS)

2+ years working in related field, preferably in professional services and / or industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.

Professional Certification such as CIPT, CIPP / US and / EU, CISSP, CISM, GSEC, GIAC preferred.

Our Hybrid Workplace

Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment.

The ratio of remote to in-person requirements vary by client, project, team, and other business factors. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location.

Below is the salary range for this job.

$100,000.00 - $150,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and / or discretionary stock compensation opportunities.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$110,000.00 - $165,000.00

We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions.

We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service.

New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
