Validation Engineer Intern
Job Description :
Our product lines include high speed (GHz) ICs for optical media access andsignal transport. These products are tested by bench-top lab equipment inblock, chip and system level before moving to production.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Provide help to Senior Validation Engineer in configuration / set-up of test equipment and hardware
- Provide support inprogramming and creating automation scripts for test automation
- Monitor and understandproduct features by reading data sheet and design documentation
- Create draft validationreport and data logs
- Coordinate final data reviewwith Senior Validation Engineer
During the 12 weeks each Intern will :
Be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals
Gain hands on experience
Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision
Be invited to attend an intern webinar series
Attend networking / social events
Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls
Receive formal, written feedback
JobQualifications :
- A candidate in senior yearof BSEE or working toward MSEE degree
- lab skills and experienceusing lab equipment is a plus
- Experience in C# programmingis a must
