Payroll Coordinator

Role Overview : As a Payroll Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Your attention to detail and commitment to timely payroll processing will contribute to our organization’s success.

Responsibilities :

  • Process weekly payrolls promptly, administering hourly payroll deductions and generating accurate reports.
  • Reconcile premium payments using the UKG system for various insurance plans.
  • Assist in preparing and processing invoices and check requests related to payroll.
  • Maintain precise time and attendance records, including vacation and sick time reports.
  • Compile annual filings for EEO, AAP, and Veterans 100 compliance.
  • Distribute service recognition awards.
  • Generate necessary reports from the HR / Payroll information system.
  • Provide backup support for the online benefits enrollment system.
  • Stay informed about changes in company benefits offerings.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field (preferred) but not required
  • Prior experience with payroll processing and familiarity with payroll software (., UKG).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.

This position is located approximately 90 minutes outside of Savannah, so the company will assist with relocation expenses.
