Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Head of Human Resources with a background in IRS or taxation-related environments to lead an HR department.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of HR will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
Head of Human Resources Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee employee onboarding, development, and retention programs.
- Implement and manage performance management systems to ensure employee growth and productivity.
- Address employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to build a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to make data-driven decisions and improvements.
Head of Human Resources Qualifications :
- 5+years experience in managing end to end HR domains
- Degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred. (Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.)
- Proven experience as an HR leader, with a strong background in HR management within the gas station or convenience store industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies and programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Experience with HR software and data analytics.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
