Our client is looking to fill the position of Pharmaceutical Production. This position will be a 2nd shift role and will be on site in the West Caldwell, NJ office. Responsibilities :
- Provide manufacturing and operations oversight for safety, production efficiency, cGMP’s, quality, compliance and customer service.
- Partner closely with Quality team to ensure production compliance throughout manufacturing cycle.
- Manage the manufacturing scheduling process to meet expectations by optimizing the use of plant resources to complete assigned tasks on time.
- Manage labor utilization to assure meeting or exceeding task expectations.
- Responsible for cost oversight of manufacturing, sanitation and quality.
- Manage plant performance for operational efficiency.
- Serve as point person to resolve any operational, maintenance or manufacturing issues.
- Track product yield as well as material usage and any material loss for reporting.
- Manage all operations input and output in SAP.
- Provide training and oversight to Production Operators.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree (scientific discipline preferred)
- 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with prior leadership experience.
- Strong working knowledge of cGMPs.
- Relevant experience working in an FDA regulated environment.
- Prior management experience with knowledge of hiring, coaching and performance reviews.
