CALPAK is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to lead their customer acquisition strategy and team. They will execute the entire customer journey funnel and make data-driven decisions on how to drive DTC customer acquisition, revenue, and retention.

They will own CALPAK’s strategic and tactical online acquisition efforts, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliate, Programmatic, and CTV.

The ideal candidate must be data-driven, creative, strategic, collaborative, analytical, adept at problem-solving, and a great communicator.

The role will manage 1 direct report and various agencies. Currently, DTC is about 60% of sales with ample room for growth.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Own, scale, and optimize customer acquisition growth strategies that accelerate acquisition, overall revenue, and CALPAK growth as a company by leading end-to-end strategy and performance optimization of all paid advertising channels including Paid Search, Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), Programmatic, Affiliate, and CTV.
  • Manage a team of 1 direct report and various agency relationships. Provide leadership, guide direct reports, and encourage growth.

Manage resources and project management to ensure all projects are executed smoothly, efficiently, and on time.

  • Define and track KPI goals for paid acquisition performance channels and work with internal and external agency teams to execute strategy and ensure delivery of those KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Digital and Creative teams to create testing and ad production cadence and culture including performance creative, paid landing page production, new audience capture, and beyond.

Continuously optimize audience strategies across all paid channels and work closely with the Brand, Creative, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent and aligned messaging across all channels - leveraging UGC, press, testimonials, and customer reviews where appropriate.

  • Work closely with Creative, Marketing, and Ecommerce teams to execute display, social, and other paid advertising efforts and marketing campaigns, including creative briefing for shoots and ad creative, list growth strategies, awareness strategies, and white-list influencer partnerships.
  • Creative storyteller who uses customer insights and product knowledge to inspire the ongoing creation and testing of new acquisition content.

Skillful in driving the most efficient processes to rapidly test high volume of creative content to fuel CALPAK’s content machine.

  • Collaborate with all areas of the business to brainstorm and bring new, innovative strategies to fruition that drive growth and revenue across all of our digital channels.
  • Evaluate and clearly communicate performance to leadership and stakeholders, as well as maintain a real-time reporting dashboard on funnel conversion performance, attribution, improvement opportunities, and growth strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on new opportunities that arise on platform, new channels, or new campaigns and ideate how to incorporate new opportunities across omni-channel teams and external agencies.

Qualifications :

  • 7+ years’ growth marketing, performance marketing, or similar (hands-on keyboard experience strongly preferred).
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with DTC and eCommerce brands.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with attribution reporting.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Has a growth mindset, comfortable challenging the status quo.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience managing agencies and multiple 3rd party vendors.
  • Experience with forecasting, projections, and budgeting for cross-channel performance channels.
  • Experience with holistic cohesive performance marketing strategy.
  • Must be able to commute to CALPAK HQ in Gardena, CA.
