Salary : $54,650 annually

General Description and Classification StandardsUnder general supervision, the Police Marketing Specialist will develop social media accounts, implements manage, track, and optimizes the digital media strategies for the Atlanta Police Recruiting Unit.

By combining the Recruiting Unit's hiring objectives and utilizing online strategies, this position also handles the day to day activities of recruiting, including research, scope development (determining and documenting a list of specific project goals, tasks, costs, and deadlines)

Develop effective recruiting plans and strategiesDevelop and maintain recruiting metrics to track and analyze dataMake informed business decisions based on data and statisticsUtilize key metrics to forecast future career fair locationsConduct research and make recommendations for recruiting candidates.

Assist with maximizing marketing strategies by creating ads and selecting vendors.Partner, network and give presentations at colleges / universities, military installations, and other suitable venues to attract quality candidates.Additional Information

This position will require light travel.The selected applicant for the position will be subject to a reference and criminal background check.Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or equivalent in a related field.Two years of related experience in marketing social media strategiesPreferred Education & Experience

2 years of high volume recruiting experience

Licensures and Certifications

None required.
