Description :
Establish the production schedule and rough-cut capacity plan for assigned product areas and manufacturing departments by balancing customer order demand, inventory replenishment demand, production capacity, resource, and material constraints, while achieving >
90% on time delivery.-Rigorously evaluate and manage ERP master data for consistency and accuracy to ensure highly accurate real-time status of customer orders, capacity utilization, inventory levels, material delivery or shortages, and to maximize the opportunity manage by exception, and support long term requirements planning.
Effectively extract and analyze trend data, sales forecasts, and produce machine and labor capacity forecasts, and establish proper inventory levels of both purchased and manufactured goods.
Implement replenishment strategies to maintain or improve lead times, both to customer and internal departments. -Effectively collaborate with Purchasing to ensure timely delivery of sourced or sub-contracted materials or services in support of the production schedule or inventory replenishment.
Act as a backup to Purchasing in the procurement and supplier management of purchase direct to job (non-stock) materials or services, sub-contract materials or services.
May lead purchase direct procurement for their assigned product areas and manufacturing departments. Some purchase to stock procurement collaboration may also be required.
- Coordinate with Receiving, Inventory, Kitting, and Material Handling staff to ensure effective and timely tracking and delivering of materials with Enercon manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure inventory transactions are performed correctly by all staff. Facilitate cycle counting of inventory or WIP as necessary to avoid or contain materials availability issues.
Communicate or escalate issues, as necessary.-Effectively collaborate with Production Supervisors in support of production schedule attainment and maintain communication with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing leadership on order completion dates.
Ensuring accuracy and consistency of ERP system data, status notes, and verbal / email communication.-Communicate with company personnel as required to keep them informed of delivery schedules, material lead-times for the manufacture of customer orders, or the status of Engineering Changes, or development and introduction of New Products.
Collaborate with others or lead the plant floor implementation of Engineering Changes, Corrective Action, and New Products.
Participate, facilitate, or lead the creation or revision of ERP methods of manufacture (Bill of Materials, Bill of Operations) to improve production status transparency, effectiveness, or inventory accuracy.
Demonstrate effective change management awareness and skill to ensure changes are validated before implementation in the live ERP environment.
- Daily attendance at manufacturing department meetings, twice weekly Order Status meetings, and monthly S&OP meetings. Lead discussions on order, jobs, or operations for products and manufacturing departments assigned in those meetings.
- Update published lead times for assigned product lines at least monthly, or as directed by the Production Planning and Scheduling Supervisor.
- Establish a level loaded schedule for assigned manufacturing departments in alignment with master production schedule following the priorities of customer orders, safety stock, and forecasted.
- Perform frequent review of manufacturing master data, department work cues, material shortage reports, and make corrections to ensure adherence to established or revised production priorities.
Ensure materials are planned or procured correctly and are on time, or expedited to ensure production occurs to the master production schedule.
Quickly, clearly, and effectively escalate exceptions to the appropriate person or persons and follow through diligently to recover, maintain, or improve the production output-Process sub-contract receipts, RMA’s, DMR’s, and rework jobs as required to ensure timely status reporting and resolution of issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management, or an associate degree with significant demonstrated experience in an Engineer to Order production environment.
- Three (3) or more years of work experience in Production Scheduling, Supply Chain, Business, Materials Management, or related field is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to inform the organization on order, job, and operation status and perform effective change management as required.
- Excellent knowledge of ERP systems is required. Epicor ERP is the most preferred.-Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
Strong data extraction and Excel trend analysis and forecasting capabilities are required.-Basic ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, technical data, and product specifications is required.
CPIM, ASCM. and / or ISM certifications are a plus.-May occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds to move parts, materials, and product.
