Our private family practice searching for responsible, reliable, team player DA / RDA to join our friendly staff. Team member will have back office and occasional front office duties.
1+ years of experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
Back office
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Take dental xrays
- Fabricate Temporary Crowns
- Perform Coronal polishing
- Take alginate impressions for study models
- Dental scan patients
Skills
- Proven experience as dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
