Bridge Specialty Insurance Brokerage is seeking a Processing Assistant for its growing teamin Metairie, LA.
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
The primary job function of this position is to support the clerical and administrative process of the Broker’s book of business for both renewals and new business
- Develop a full working knowledge of Commercial Lines procedures.
- Handle client request for information, endorsements cancellations, and other services as required.
- Assist in analyzing insurance exposures and account summaries.
- Review policies, endorsements, audits, dividends, and quotations prepared by our carriers for accuracy and completeness.
- Preparation of binders, certificates, automobile identification cards, invoices, and similar items. Assist in resolving unbilled items, account differences and commission differences when necessary.
- Keep Commercial Lines Service Manager informed of any serviced problems.
- Utilize agency automation with a high level of knowledge and proficiency.
- Follow procedures as established in the Commercial Lines Procedure Manual.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED : Required :
Required :
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred :
- One (1) or more years of successful insurance experience.
- An active state insurance license.
