Job Type Part-time Description
Are you an experienced and detail oriented EDDA-Dental assistant looking for a part-time job that offers flexible hours, competitive pay, and growth opportunities?

We are adding a part-time EDDA-DA to our practice due to growth, and looking for an EDDA who has one or more years experience, is EDDA certified and has the ability to work part-time.
Hours for this role are flexible working Thurday, Friday's weekly and one Saturday per month.
- Thursday 1-6
- Friday 8-5
- 1x Sat / month 8-1
Responsibilities as an EDDA-Dental Assistan t
- Welcome patients with a warm smile
- Experienced with 4 handed dentistry
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Capturing diagnostic radiographs
- Proficiency with temporary crowns, rubber dams, impressions, dentures
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Keep operatories clean and well-stocked
- Schedule follow-up and / or additional appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment planning
Requirements
- Good computer skills
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- w+ years experience - we are willing to train more advanced skills
- CPR certified
- Experience with Removables is preferred but is not required
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred but is not required
Salary Description Starting at 25.00 / hr
