SUMMARY :
The role of the Sales & Marketing Manager is to maintain and develop client's current and future market segments. This role will primarily focus on client's Industrial Process Markets (See Map).
The successful candidate will have a proven Sales, Business Development, and Key Account track record working for an Industrial Instrumentation company.
In addition, the individual will be a hunter vs. a farmer who enjoys exploring new opportunities and market niches.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage key accounts
- Acquire & develop new customers / key accounts
- Drive sales growth
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans
- Manage reps and distributors within assigned territory
- Identify and penetrate new market segments & applications
- Provide monthly sales forecasts
- Communicate macro market trends
- Be accountable for delivering the agreed-upon budget / plan sales / order number
- Develop marketing collateral. For example :
- Training presentations (internal / customer / rep)
- Application presentations, etc.
- Define and develop specific market opportunities
- Minimum of 50% travel (domestic)
- Other duties may be assigned.
