Job Title : Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description :
Seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with critical API standards, including API 11D1, API 19V, API 19ICV, and API 19AC.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems, ensuring compliance with API standards.
- Create detailed design specifications and engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform engineering analysis to support design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs into larger systems and ensure seamless functionality.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the manufacturing process to ensure design specifications are met.
- Perform testing and validation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, modifications, and testing results.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical design engineering and industry-specific regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering with a focus on API 11D1, API 19V, API 19ICV, and API 19AC standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and precision.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in the oil and gas industry is a plus.
