ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Field Clinical Engineering provides technical and clinical expertise, educational and field support to ensure the safe adoption of the Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulation system.
- The FCE is responsible for working with customers, physicians, clinic staff and HMT field staff to drive procedural and practice success.
OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE :
- Provide technical support during implant procedures and at device activation.
- Maintain credentials enabling access to assigned hospitals and clinics.
- Provide technical leadership and education in assigned region to account clinical staff.
- Provide post-training follow-up including procedural reviews, in servicing and support.
- Assist customers in device troubleshooting. Collaborate with HMT Clinical, R&D on appropriate training / support for targeted patients.
- Provide technical expertise for assigned regional education and training activities.
- Stay current on relevant scientific publications and clinical evidence.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelors’ degree (Biomedical Engineering, Nursing)
- 5+ years of related clinical / healthcare or medical device industry experience (neuromodulation experience preferred).
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a clinical setting, with clinicians and patients
- Strong computer skills with MS office including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Prior Operating Room (surgical) experience with Class 3 Implantable Devices
- Ability to travel Internationally.
