What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all plant equipment
- Performs troubleshooting, problem solving, and countermeasure activities on all production and facility equipment
- Performs mechanical maintenance with frequent electrical (480V, 208V, 120V, 24VDC) and controls-related troubleshooting
- Dismantles machines or equipment using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects and repairs or replaces
- Completes daily maintenance paperwork for assigned Work Requests and Checklists
- Assists with installing conduit and wiring for new equipment installations
- Performs special duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor / Manager
REQUIREMENTS - MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING :
- Thorough understanding of maintenance troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic manufacturing equipment
- Working knowledge of 480 Volt 3 phase power, logic controllers, motor starters and variable frequency drives
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications
Your Education Should Be
Minimum Education :
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Trade or Technical school a plus
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require
WORKING CONDITIONS :
- Mostly Outdoor / Shop Environment
- Must be able to work outdoor and indoor

Your Professional Experience Should Be
Minimum Experience :
5+ years of electrical maintenance experience
2+ years of experience with CNC Machine Repair
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
Experience with troubleshooting PLC based control systems
Strong background in electrical troubleshooting
Skills Required : (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.) :
Welding and fabrication skills considered a plus
