We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Public Relations with 8-10 years of experience to join their dynamic team.

You will only need to be present at the office in Fort Worth, Texas, approximately once a month, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of remote work while maintaining a strong connection with the team.

Key Responsibilities :

As the Director of Public Relations, you will spearhead the planning and execution of public relations strategies for our clients.

In addition, you will work closely with agency leadership to update workflows, enhance approaches, and expand the department.

This is across multiple industries spanning from food and bev to oil and gas to non-profits and more (aka - never a dull moment).

Your role will involve :

Expertly handling internal and crisis communications needs with finesseProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Slides, Sheets, etc.

Familiarity with Google AdWords, display and mobile advertisingManaging a diverse range of projects for our esteemed clienteleKeeping the team informed of client and agency opportunities, such as articles, awards, and tie-ins to social content calendarsDemonstrating a solid understanding of social marketing platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.

to complement PR effortsActive participation in meetings with clients, vendors, and colleagues to propose and implement effective PR strategiesPreparing, presenting, and executing PR plans aligned with client goals, showcasing your exceptional playbook design skillsWorking within budgets and estimates to achieve optimal resultsTaking the lead in writing news releases, handling media inquiries, and ensuring client preparedness through coaching and trainingCollaborating with our analytics and media teams to measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all projectsContributing to proposal development and presentations to support new business endeavorsServing as a subject matter expert for PR tactics, collaborating with our account service and media teams to strategize effectivelyExperience in developing messaging, crafting press releases, initiating communications plans, and creating scripts, media briefings, and marketing communicationsPossessing a robust media contacts list (local, NPB, industries, etc.

and a genuine desire to pitch the pressDemonstrating clear, concise writing skills following AP style guidelinesProactively initiating and developing PR campaigns to generate media coverage, support reputation management, and drive positive client sentimentWhile the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) credential is not mandatory, it is considered a valuable assetMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipThis position does not entail any direct reports at present, however there is anticipation for building out a team with your leadershipAt the agency, they understand the importance of valuing their employees and offer a comprehensive range of benefits, including :
