Your responsibilities

• Maintain accurate account of all packaging component usage for inventory purposes showing manufacturer, load numbers, lot numbers, manufacturing date, and quantity used.
• Maintain batch records and production reports during production.
• Perform on-line production checks as appropriate and record results.
• Responsible for critical decision making and recommendations around process critical control parameters.
• Observe and notify appropriate personnel of FDA and OSHA violations.
• Take appropriate steps immediately when the production line conditions and / or checks do not meet standards.
• Operate power vehicles (fork truck, walker stacker, etc.) Be familiar with the procedure to charge fork truck batteries and how to place a fork truck on charge.
• Must know, understand, and perform the cleaning / sanitation of product lines and equipment.

The experience we're looking for

• A background in manufacturing or production would be beneficial, but a strong desire to learn is also highly valued.
• An aptitude for understanding and adhering to detailed manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
• Ability to work actively, which might include standing for long periods and managing moderate weights.
• A detail-oriented and reliable approach, with the drive to take initiative and achieve high-quality results.
