Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CAD Engineer at Altitude Exhibits in Highlands Ranch, CO. The CAD Engineer will be responsible for physical design, computer-aided design (CAD), mechanical engineering, and utilizing tools such as EDA and Cadence in the exhibit design process.
Qualifications
Convert design concepts into functional exhibit builds
Identify proper materials for fabrication
Provide fabricated and sourced component specifications
Provide all build details for quoting projects
Produce detailed build drawings - annotating dimensions, materials and construction methods
Generate technical drawings and electronic files for CNC routing and custom fabrication.
Coordinate with in-house custom builders to ensure proper construction of fabricated elements.
Develop assembly drawings and exhibit setup instructions, including parts lists for shipping
Identify electrical, rigging, etc. needs on floor layout
Create and maintain CAD model reference library
Proficiency with the current version of Autocad is required
1 year of trade show detailing experience is required
Proficiency in Fusion 360 a plus
Experience with generating drawings and files for CNC routing a plus
