Lab Technician - Molecular and Cell Biology, NGS

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Pharma Assay Development (PAD) Team in the R&D department as a lab technician.

This exciting and challenging role is responsible for performing single cell multiomics workflow and NGS to achieve the goals of PAD projects.

The position will be critical in executing experimental plans to generate deliverables for Mission Bio’s customers.

You will use Tapestri® Single Cell multiomics platform and Illumina sequencers to produce high quality single cell sequencing data for the PAD projects.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Perform single cell suspension sample prep, single cell library prep and Illumina sequencing.
• Perform Molecular Biology and Cell Biology experiments as required.
• Collect and record data during experimental procedures following SOPs and routines.
• Lab maintenance including sample storage, organizing kits and consumables etc.

Required Skills :

• Consistent culture value as Mission Bio (collaborative, curious and driven)
• Strong background in NGS, molecular biology and cell biology bench work. Experience with cell culture, qPCR and ddPCR is a plus.
• Strong documentation skills to keep experimental data integrity. Familiar with Google sheets and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to details, communicative and well-organized.
• Proven track record of following SOPs to completion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related fields with research experience
• Minimum 1 year experience of wet lab bench work with NGS

Pay Range & Role Expectations :

This role's pay range is $30.00 - $35.00 / hour. This pay range applies to the labor market for the intended position. The final base pay is based on each candidate's unique qualifications and experience.

This role is required to be onsite in our headquarters 5 days per week.
