We are looking for a Project Engineer (Mechanical) with the following details :
- Location : Jubail
- Package : 10k
- Mode : Iqama transfer
- Nationality : Any
The candidate must have a Mechanical Engineering Degree (BE) with 5 years of construction experience, or a Diploma with 8 years of construction experience.
Responsibilities include planning, monitoring, and supervising the assigned project downstream team and day-to-day construction activities.
Key responsibilities include reviewing 90% IFA and IFC design drawings, MTOs, and quantity verification, along with MR and PO coordination with the procurement team.
The candidate should have a good understanding of engineering deliverables and coordination with the Engineering Department regarding constructability matters.
The role requires coordination with the planning engineer, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with the approved construction program.
The candidate will be responsible for resolving field construction issues, preparing and coordinating technical queries, and collaborating with the Project Manager, Engineering Department, and Construction Team.
Evaluation of technical bids related to project materials is also required.
Direct coordination with client representatives for all construction matters is essential. Participation in client / contractor meetings and addressing concerns is expected.
The candidate will prepare and review daily / weekly progress reports, a two-week look-ahead plan, and report to the Construction Manager / Project Manager.
Monitoring and controlling subcontractors for daily construction activities while adhering to QHSE requirements is critical.
All construction activities should align with the project quality plan. Perform duties as assigned by the direct supervisor and report as per the project-specific organizational chart, as instructed by the Project Manager.
