CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector

Duties of the CMM programmer / quality inspector :

• Interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models effectively
• Utilize Calypso Programming on a Zeiss CMM
• Apply critical thinking skills for continuous process improvement
• Collaborate with team members and departments to achieve quality objectives
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality systems
• Collect, report, and record quality data using MS Office tools
• Provide feedback to departments and machine operators to maintain quality standards

Requirements of the CMM programmer / quality inspector :

• AA Degree or technical college certificate is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in quality inspection within a machining / manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Calypso programming and operation of CMM equipment
• Working understanding of quality systems
• Fluent in GD&T and proficient in blueprint reading (referencing ANSI Y14.5)
