We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian. We are an established animal hospital caring for dogs and cats, located in Grand Rapids, MI.

Responsibilities & Duties :
- Cultivate positive relationships with clients and their animals through effective communication and excellent medical record keeping
- Examine and treat dogs and cats by appointment and occasionally in work-in / emergency setting
- Prioritize traumatic injuries and serious illnesses, in addition to regularly scheduled wellness appointments, to ensure that all animals receive the care they need in a timely fashion
- Partner and educate clients on the importance of preventative care; vaccinations, heartworm and flea / tick products, chronic disease management & general treatment plan compliance
- Perform routine surgeries and dental procedures
Qualifications & Skills :
- Passion for helping owners and pets make the most of every moment
- Perpetual learner setting the bar in comprehensive care for dogs and cats
- Must possess a valid veterinarian license in good standing with the State of Michigan
- Ability to : lift and carry animals and equipment up to 50 lbs., walk or stand for extended periods of time, frequently work in a bent position, come in contact with peanut butter
